💪 How They Make Work Easier
Key Ideas
- Simple machines don't reduce the amount of work — they change HOW the force is applied
- They can reduce the force needed (but increase distance)
- Or change the direction of force
- Compound machines = two or more simple machines together (like scissors = lever + wedge)
